Cheesecake is different

Who does not know the famous sweet American origin? Yes, we are talking specifically about cheesecake pie. But in this recipe, we present an interesting twist: ricotta and mascarpone cheesecake!


It is a "different" cheesecake: this cake is usually prepared with cream cheese, only with mascarpone or simply with ricotta, in its new variant without cooking. In our gourmet variant the combination of ricotta and mascarpone will give a great taste in addition to sweet and pleasing the famous pie. In fact, the sweetness of St. Lucia Ricotta and the delicate mascarpone cheese flavor of St. Lucia can be perfectly combined in this pudding that will please everyone!

Balance this perfect combination a base of scones, cooking and garnishing with raspberries and wild berries.


PREPARATION:




To prepare the ricotta cheesecake and mascarpone started from the base: chopped with the mixer's cookies and add the melted Santa Lucia butter. Stir until mixture is smooth and tied.

Pour the biscuit mixture on a round mold (preferably a hinge mold) and allow it to cool for at least one hour (or even in the refrigerator for 30 minutes).

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, put the eggs, cream, ricotta St. Lucia, St. Lucia mascarpone and sugar. Mix together and finally add the teaspoon of vanilla extract.

When the cream is mixed well pass to pour into the pan where you created the cookie base.

Bake at 170 ° C for 60 minutes. Once cooked let it cool down before turning them on.

Meanwhile, dissolve in a saucepan with a little sugar and water, berries and / or raspberries. When the ricotta cake and the mascarpone cheesecake is cold, put on the fruit and serve.

Advice for this preparation?
You can also use instead of biscuits of milks shaken in a food processor (and always worked with melted butter). Once processed this way, pour the mixture on the bottom of a mold that can be covered with parchment paper: it will be easier then unmold your cake. It is important to leave in the refrigerator to get a solid base!

With regard to filling ricotta and mascarpone need to know that it is important to mix all the ingredients in a bowl until the mixture is homogeneous and compact compound. If you wish, to your taste, you can prepare this cream by adding even a few tablespoon of cocoa.

Finally, some suggestions for the presentation: decorate the surface of your cheesecake with a single layer of strawberry jam, or with a berry sauce instead of whole fruit.
